Background

HSS is a B2B2C tool and equipment hire business based in the UK with multiple brands, such as UK Platforms and Abird. Focused on delivering Safety, Value, Availability, and Support, they work predominately with ‘business-to-business’ customers in the ‘fit-out, maintain and operate’ sectors.

Brief

HSS sought to rebuild their current digital footprint using Hybris to bring all of their brands (UK Platforms, Abird, Reintec, Apex Generators, HSS Live Hire, HSS Careers, HSS Skips, HSS Sales, and HSS.com) under one single site.

Goals

Merge eight brands into one seamless site. Launch within a five-month-timeline with six existing commerce and CMS platforms. Create a complete omnichannel solution for hire, rentals, training, and sales businesses.

Challenge

Eight brands had to be integrated into the SAP Hybris implementation. The company’s product catalog offers around 70,000 price variants for a single SKU, creating additional complexity for the project.
